Larry Flaxman, Paranormal Investigator, Author, ARPAST President
Larry Flaxman has been actively involved in paranormal research and hands-on
field investigation for over ten years, and melds his technical, scientific,
and investigative backgrounds together for no-nonsense, scientifically
objective explanations regarding a variety of anomalous phenomena. He is the
President and Senior Researcher of ARPAST, the Arkansas Paranormal and
Anomalous Studies Team, which he founded in February of 2007. Under his
leadership, ARPAST has become one of the nation's largest and most active
paranormal research organizations, with over 150 members worldwide dedicated
to conducting research into the paranormal using the most stringent
scientific methodology. ARPAST is also now a proud member of the TAPS family
(The Atlantic Paranormal Society). Larry supervises a staff of fully trained
researchers and over $250,000 worth of top-of-the-line equipment. Widely
respected for his expertise on the proper use of equipment and techniques
for conducting a solid investigation, Larry also serves as technical advisor
to several paranormal research groups throughout the country.
Larry has appeared in numerous print interviews, including features in local
and regional newspapers, magazines and online publications such as The
Anomalist, Times Herald News, Jacksonville Patriot, ParaWeb, Current Affairs
Herald, Unexplained Magazine, The Petit Jean County Headlight and The Pine
Bluff Commercial. He has been interviewed for several local and regional
news television outlets such as "Ozarks First," as well as national cable television, most recently appearing in a two-part special on ARPAST for
MudTruck TV, and he has been interviewed on dozens of radio programs,
including "X-Zone," "Ghostly Talk," "Eerie Radio," "Crossroads Paranormal,"
"Binall of America," "Encounters Radio" and "Haunted Voices."
Larry has authored several published articles regarding science and the
paranormal and is a regular columnist for The Paranormal Awareness Society
Newsletter. Currently, he is the co-author (with Marie D. Jones) of the
upcoming books "11:11 - The Time Prompt Phenomena: The Meaning Behind
Mysterious Signs, Sequences and Synchronicities," and "The Resonance Key:Exploring the Links Between Vibration, Consciousness and the Zero Point
Grid" for New Page Books. He is also co-creator of an organization called ParaExplorers.com, an organization that is devoted to the exploration of ancient and modern unknown mysteries, and isdeveloping a line of related books and products.
In addition, Larry is co-creator of the popular new ParaTracker software
program for documenting data from paranormal investigations. His own ARPAST
online research database system, SOCIUS, is considered one of the most
comprehensive in the field. His enthusiasm for education and training in the
paranormal field has also garnered many requests for special events and
seminars, including popular charity investigations at haunted locations
across the South, lectures on paranormal awareness for the Breckenridge
Movie Theatre chain, and Teen Technology Night at the Nixon Library.
Larry also currently works in law enforcement/information technology. He is
married and lives in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Richard Keifer, Retired FBI Agent and Expert Polygrapher
Richard Keifer is an expert polygrapher, a former FBI Agent of 26 years, and expert interview and interrogation specialist. He has supervised more than 20,000 polygraphs, and has conducted three to four thousand polygraphs personally. Richard earned his Bachelor in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and his Masters in Education from the University of Virginia. Richard is a former FBI National Polygraph Program Manager, HQ Polygraph Supervisor, Polygraph Examiner, and Polygraph Training Coordinator.
Richard Keifer is a nationally recognized Speaker in Chart Evaluation, and a former adjunct faculty member at the University of Virginia where they developed an Advanced Polygraph Studies Program. Richard Keifer was at one time the President of the American Polygraph Association, as well as a member of American Society of Testing and Materials, the Florida Polygraph Association, the FBI Agents Association, FBI Society of Former Special Agents, and the American Society of Industrial Security. Since his retirement from the FBI, Richard has gone into private practice and currently operates Keifer Group Investigations.
Marie D. Jones, Author, New Thought - Metaphysics Minister
Marie D. Jones, is a single mother to one son, Max, is a prolific author, and she currently lives in Northern San Diego County, California. She has written a number of books including 2013: End of Days or a New Beginning – Envisioning the World After the Events of 2012; PSIences – How New Discoveries in Quantum Physics and New Science May Explain the Existence of Paranormal Phenomena; Looking For God in All The Wrong Places, and she co-authored Supervolcano: The Catastrophic Event that Changed the Course of Human History, with her father, geophysicist Dr. John M. Savino. Her work and writing includes over 50 inspirational books for PIL/New Seasons, articles, essays, stories, ezines, newspapers, and anthologies, and she has written for five Chicken Soup for the Soul books. Marie D. Jones is a book reviewer for CurledUp.com, BookIdeas.com, and AbsoluteWrite.com, and she has produced a line of videos which have been nationally distributed, including an award-winning children’s storybook-style video.
Jones is a New Thought – Metaphysics minister, she has an intense background in metaphysics, spiritual studies, and the field of the paranormal, and she was a field investigator for the Mutual UFO Network in Los Angeles and San Diego for 15 years. She has written for many paranormal magazines, and has retained an interest in science and the paranormal since she was a child. Jones is a Consultant to the Arkansas Paranormal and Anomalous Studies Team (ARPAST), and she has an extensive background in the entertainment field. Marie D. Jones has worked at Warner Bros. Records, UAA Films, Omega Entertainment, and a number of other film companies in L.A. She has written film reviews, as well as script coverage for a number of motion picture companies. Jones has also competed in the National Novel Writing Month Competition and won.
Marie serves as President of Progressive Democrats of San Diego, a chapter of Progressive Democrats of America; she is an alternate delegate for the California 74th state assembly district, and she was President of the Animal Welfare Coalition for five years. Marie has been a guest on hundreds of radio shows, and has been interview by myriad magazines, newspapers, and websites. Dana D. Eilers - Eclectic Egyptian Witch, Retired Pagan Attorney
Dana D. Eilers is a 1978 graduate of Smith College and a 1981 cum laude graduate of the New England School of Law, where she was published in the Law Review and served as one of its editors. She is a licensed attorney in the states of Illinois, Massachusetts, and Missouri . From 1982-1998, Dana practiced as a civil litigator with active trial firms in St. Louis, Missouri where the bulk of her practice was in the states of Illinois and Missouri. She is currently retired from the active practice of law and lives in Chatham, Massachusetts where she writes and consults on various matters, both material and ephemeral. She is the author of The Practical Pagan and Pagans and The Law: Understand Your Rights. Her legal commentary in the Pagan community is widely quoted and recently, her work has appeared in a collection of legal essays addressing religious rights. Other authors in the collection included United States Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Presently, she writes a column for Green Egg On Life entitled "Brief Bits: Legal Topics for Pagans."
Dana has been a practicing, eclectic Witch for over twenty years. She has lived out of the broom closet for most of those years. Her personal spiritual tradition is inspired by Egyptian, Mayan, and Western European sources. She writes, teaches, and speaks on the topics of Witchcraft, Magic, Ritual, and Paganism. Her written works have appeared in Green Egg, Pangaia, Sage Woman, Circle Sanctuary News, and Goodwitch StoriesMore of her work can be found on The Witches' Voice (witchvox.com). She is a member of AREN’s legal resource pool and of the OurFreedom list online where she serves as a resource and active voice for Pagan civil rights. She assisted the joint project of WyrdWeavers Collective, the Pagan Educational Network, and the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans in the creation of the online pamphlet: Pagan Leaders Denounce Religious Intolerance and Uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. She was a member of the Papal Apology Committee and aided in the drafting of the Petition to the Pope to include Witches and Pagans in the Vatican speech given in January, 2000. She was a member of the BOILERPLATE committee, which formulated the letters and forms found at the Boilerplate Web site. This site is for Pagans who wish to write coherent letters regarding their faith to newspapers, congressional leaders, etc.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Dana addressed the public there through radio, television, and print regarding Witchcraft and Paganism. She created and facilitated Conversations with Pagans, a forum where the Pagan curious, the Pagan friendly, and the Pagan folk discussed all topics of interest. Dana has presented this forum at many different events and in different places all over the country. For years, she has taught classes regarding Wicca, magick, and ritual. For many years, she served on the Ritual Committee for both the Pagan Picnic and Magickal Weekend. As such, she helped to create and perform public ritual for groups ranging in size from less than a dozen to approximately 250. She was a co-founder of The Occasional Coven in St. Louis.
In the St. Louis area, Dana worked to create a large, thriving and public Pagan community. She was a founding member of the Omnistic Fellowship, a religious fellowship with a particular focus on alternative spirituality and a founding member of the Council for Alternative Spiritual Traditions (CAST), which is an influential Pagan leadership council which, unfortunately, has been disbanded. She served for four years as the Chair of the Steering Committee for WildHaven, a four-day Pagan Festival celebrating the Autumnal Equinox and was one of the founders of WildHaven. She has worked and practiced both in coven and as a Solitary.
In Massachusetts, she has appeared on several radio programs on WOMR Outermost Radio in Provincetown, and she has been featured in articles in The Cape Cod Chronicle and The Cape Cod Times. She was a regular panelist on the radio program Radio Omnibus’ "Cabin in the Pines Roundtable of the Air," hosted by Christopher Hawley, and airing on WOMR Outermost Radio, FM 92.1, in Provincetown, Massachusetts for several years. Her other radio appearances have also included an interview with Duke Skorich on the Duke Skorich show, NPR, 91.3 FM; 102.9 FM, web site at KUWS.FM; and several podcasts for Lance and Graal. In October of 2000, she presented and facilitated a public ritual for Womens’ Week in Provincetown, Massachusetts and gave a seminar in Goddess-centered spirituality. She has presented The Ritual of Wands as a healing ritual on several occasions for the Cape Cod Pagan community and continues to facilitate Conversations with Pagans in her community upon request. Although she worked with various Circles and Covens for years, she currently, she works as a Solitary. She continues to create and to perform public rituals.
