Redfern was educated at the Pelsall Comprehensive School in West Midlands, England. He is the former staff writer for Zero, a British rock music and fashion magazine. From the mid 1980s until the early 2000s, he was a freelance journalist for The London Daily Express; the Western Daily Press, the Planet on Sunday; the People, and the Express & Star. He was also a freelance journalist for several magazines including The Weekender, Pet Reptile, Military Illustrated, Eye Spy, The XFactor, Alien Encounters, The Unopened Files, and more. In 1997, he authored A Covert Agenda: The British Government’s UFO Top Secrets Exposed,, and a year later he authored The FBI Files: The FBI’s UFO Top Secrets Exposed. In 2000, Nick wrote Cosmic Crashes: The incredible Story of the UFO’s The Fell to Earth. Since 2001, Nick has been running the U.S. Office of the British-based Center for Fortean Zoology, and in 2003 he wrote Strange Secrets: Real Government Files on The Unknown. In 2004, Nick’s books, Three Men Seeking Monsters: Six Weeks In Pursuit of Werewolves, Lake Monsters, Giant Cats, Ghostly Devil Dogs, and Ape-Men, and A Covert Agenda were published.

Additional books authored by Nick include: Body Snatchers in the Desert: The Horrible Truth at the Heart of the Roswell Story (2005); On the Trail of the Saucer Spies: UFO’s and Government Surveillance(2006), Science Fiction Secrets: From Government Files and the Paranormal (2009),and Celebrity Secrets: Government Files on the Rich and Famous (2007). He has also written for Fate Magazine, UFO Magazine, and the London Daily Express.

Nick as turned his attention to freelance research as a consultant in the entertainment industry. He has worked on several television productions including projects by Red Star Films of Canada, Mentorn TV of Britain, and the Sy-Fy Channel in the US. He also worked as the co-editor of Phenomena Magazine for a year. He has been on countless television and radio show programs, and tonight he joins us to discuss his book: The NASA Conspiracies: The Truth Behind the Moon Landings, Censored Photos , and The Face on Mars released in 2010 by New Page Books.

Priestess Claudia Williams is a licensed and ordained Minister of Ancient Ways in the state of Louisiana. Her personal area of spiritual dedication is in West African based religion including various sects of Vodou and Santeria. She is a recognized authority on these subjects. She is also deeply connected to her Native American heritage and conducts ritual in some of these traditions as well. She conducts private ceremonies in a number of different traditions depending on the needs of the client. She can perform legal marriages as well as alternative union/wedding ceremonies. She also performs house cleansings and blessings, and baby blessings as well as all other traditional clergy services.

The Temple of The Altar-Native Star is an eclectic teaching oriented temple lead by Priestess/Rev. Claudia Williams and Priest/Psychic Phillip Humphreys. Together they conduct public and private ceremonies in virtually all non Judeo-Christian traditions. They enjoy performing rituals that suit their client’s specific needs and make the ceremony as accessible as possible to the client. However, while they enjoy tailoring rituals to suit the tastes of clients, they adhere strictly to the appropriate confines of ceremony depending on the tradition in which they are performing a ritual.

The Temple of The Altar-Native Star holds weekly Vodou rituals on Saturday nights at 8:30pm in the Starling Magickal Occult Shop Courtyard weather permitting. Ritual purpose and schedules permitting, some nights rituals include both a European Witchcraft segment as well as the traditional Vodou ritual: both parts dedicated to the same purpose. Those interested are encouraged to call and find out what deity is being honored or what issue is being addressed as ceremonies vary weekly. Manly grew up as a free‐range college brat in North Carolina. He received an undergraduate degree from Pfeiffer College and Ph.D. in physics from Columbia University in New York City. After moving up the faculty ranks at Yale University, he moved to the University of Rochester where he now resides and terrorizes students in the introductory physics course sequences. Professor Manly works at high energy accelerators around the world where his research probes the structure of matter and the forces of nature. He frequently lectures on his research at international scientific conferences and has published over 150 articles in scientific journals.

Professor Manly’s abilities and efforts in teaching and outreach have been recognized nationally and locally. He was named the NY State Professor of the Year in 2003 by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, and was honored as the Mercer Brugler Distinguished Teaching Professor at the University of Rochester from 2002 to 2005. In 2007, he was named the recipient of the Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award by the American Association of Physics Teachers.

Recently, Professor Manly completed Relativity and Quantum Physics for Beginners (Steerforth Press, November 2009) which is a light‐hearted, graphical look at two of the most exciting intellectual developments of the 20th century. In Visions of the Multiverse, Professor Manly takes the reader on a tour of different multiple universe reality concepts and explains in accessible terms wh it is many leading physicists are convinced that we are in the midst of a new Copernican revolution. Joan Ranquet – Author and Pet Psychic

Joan Ranquet, the author of Communication with All Life: Revelations of an Animal Communicator, has been an energy healer and animal communicator for several years. Joan earned her BFA in Theatre at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. Following her time at the college, she studied acting in New York City at the Circle in the Square and has appeared in independent feature films, productions, and a variety of performance art pieces.

Joan has an independent practice, has worked with thousands of pet owners, trainers, vets, and animals, and she specializes in healing, medical issues, and in improving a pet owner’s understanding of animals. She also helps in finding lost cats and dogs as well as in assisting people dealing with the emotional loss of a pet.
