2011 Halloween Event in Manchester Vermont

The North East Paranormal Society will be hosting their first ever 2011 Halloween Event in Manchester Vermont!  You can participate in the event hosted at the Historic Wilburton Inn; the event will take place on October 29, 2011.  The event begins with a dinner, followed by a lecture about the haunted history of the Manchester, Vermont area.  The North East Paranormal Society will present some of the evidence they have collected from their past investigations, including findings collected at the Wilburton Inn in Vermont!

During the review portion of the program, you can see footage from some of the team’s past cases and the type of equipment the team uses to collect the information.  You will get a chance to listen to Class A EVP samples and to review video clips of what the team believes to be a passing entity.  Further, you can examine photographs of apparitions, energy in flight, shadows, and more.

All attendees will then be able to join the North East Paranormal Society as they perform a formal investigation formal the Wilburton Inn!  Attendees are encouraged to bring along voice recording equipment, a camera with night vision or flash capabilities, a flashlight, and/or a video camera so that you can document your own findings.  You should wear a hoodie or sweater in the event of poor/cold weather, and no open toed shoes are permitted on the investigation.

For the past decade, Ann Faison has worked extensively with the internationally renowned healer and author David Elliot and is certified in his breath work training. In her healing practice she sees individuals and holds monthly group sessions, specializing in grief and creativity. Redfern was educated at the Pelsall Comprehensive School in West Midlands, England. He is the former staff writer for Zero, a British rock music and fashion magazine. From the mid 1980s until the early 2000s, he was a freelance journalist for The London Daily Express; the Western Daily Press, the Planet on Sunday; the People, and the Express & Star. He was also a freelance journalist for several magazines including The Weekender, Pet Reptile, Military Illustrated, Eye Spy, The XFactor, Alien Encounters, The Unopened Files, and more. In 1997, he authored A Covert Agenda: The British Government’s UFO Top Secrets Exposed,, and a year later he authored The FBI Files: The FBI’s UFO Top Secrets Exposed. In 2000, Nick wrote Cosmic Crashes: The incredible Story of the UFO’s The Fell to Earth. Since 2001, Nick has been running the U.S. Office of the British-based Center for Fortean Zoology, and in 2003 he wrote Strange Secrets: Real Government Files on The Unknown. In 2004, Nick’s books, Three Men Seeking Monsters: Six Weeks In Pursuit of Werewolves, Lake Monsters, Giant Cats, Ghostly Devil Dogs, and Ape-Men, and A Covert Agenda were published.

Priestess Claudia Williams is a licensed and ordained Minister of Ancient Ways in the state of Louisiana. Her personal area of spiritual dedication is in West African based religion including various sects of Vodou and Santeria. She is a recognized authority on these subjects. She is also deeply connected to her Native American heritage and conducts ritual in some of these traditions as well. She conducts private ceremonies in a number of different traditions depending on the needs of the client. She can perform legal marriages as well as alternative union/wedding ceremonies. She also performs house cleansings and blessings, and baby blessings as well as all other traditional clergy services.

The Temple of The Altar-Native Star is an eclectic teaching oriented temple lead by Priestess/Rev. Claudia Williams and Priest/Psychic Phillip Humphreys. Together they conduct public and private ceremonies in virtually all non Judeo-Christian traditions. They enjoy performing rituals that suit their client’s specific needs and make the ceremony as accessible as possible to the client. However, while they enjoy tailoring rituals to suit the tastes of clients, they adhere strictly to the appropriate confines of ceremony depending on the tradition in which they are performing a ritual.

The Temple of The Altar-Native Star holds weekly Vodou rituals on Saturday nights at 8:30pm in the Starling Magickal Occult Shop Courtyard weather permitting. Ritual purpose and schedules permitting, some nights rituals include both a European Witchcraft segment as well as the traditional Vodou ritual: both parts dedicated to the same purpose.
