The Template of Time and Decoding Destiny

The Template of Time: Our Destiny Decoded

NEW BOOK REVEALS THE HIDDEN PATTERN OF HISTORY

Author Tom Payne makes the convincing argument that history is not random, but follows a design in his new book The Template of Time: Our Destiny Decoded. A theory regarding the stock market initially set Payne on the path to exploring the existence of a template upon which history unfolds. While reading about how the stock market followed 70 year time cycles, Payne began to wonder if history itself may not also follow an
identifiable model.

Following years of research he discovered a pattern of historical events that emerged in the beginnings of written history and continued until the present day. Moreover, based on the fact that these patterns were consistent and could be followed by using simple math, Payne conjectured that this template could be used to forecast major historical events in the future. The Template of Time uses multiples of 70 years – allowing for a standard deviation of 1-2 years – to arrive at significant milestones in history. The years that are calculated correspond with the start of a historical process or the birth of a major figure in history, this process or person being moved in an important new direction, and finally the culmination of this process or person’s objective. For example, using Payne’s theory, the years 1774-1806-1810 and 1984-2016-2020 are important to the template. They unfold as follows: 1774 – Louis XVI, ascends the throne; his incompetent rule is an initiator of the French Revolution. 1804 – Napoleon crowns himself emperor in front of the pope and in 1806 the Holy Roman Empire is disbanded after over 1,000 years of existence. 1810 – Napoleon’s empire covers all of continental Europe with the exceptions of Russia, Portugal, Sweden, Finland and a few Balkan states. This redirection of the Roman Empire towards a secular, multi-ethnic confederacy of nations will achieve its culmination on the next set of dates: 1986 – The Single Europe Act is adopted. The European Union is a direct result. 2016 – The EU will move in a new direction around this year, possibly towards a more centralized state, and this new direction will culminate around 2020.

“Taking these various equations into account, a larger pattern emerges,” Payne adds, “showing that history conforms to a grid that is 500 years in length. That it does so four times in a row rules out the possibility of chance and coincidence.” Though a riveting read, The Template of Time lays out some profound ideas and forecasts such as:

Just as atmospheric patterns suggest what the next day’s weather is, so also does history provide us with patterns that enable one to forecast potential outcomes in the future.

The possibility that Canada and the United States will become one country in 2030

A European super-state with one individual leader that will begin to evolve in 2016

We are living in a time that will witness the monumental culminations of historical processes that have been 2,000 years in the making.

With wars, famine, and heartbreaking natural disasters grabbing headlines everyday, The Template of Time offers a fascinating new way for people to approach an uncertain future.

A Real Case of Lazarus Syndrome in Cali

Thursday, February 25th, 2010

In a news report on FoxNews.com, a story reveals the strange case of how a woman seemingly came back to life after being declared dead. The incident occurs in Cali, a Columbian city, where funeral home staff was working on a 45 year old to ready her for burial. The allegedly deceased woman suddenly began to move around and breathe. This woman was said to be clinically deceased at a local medical facility on February 16. She had been in the hospital and listed in serious condition and she had been hospitalized for neurological issues.

This woman had no blood pressure or heart readings according to Miguel Angel Saavedra, a physician at the medical facility where she had been declared dead. She was shipped to the funeral home after her death certificate was signed. The doctor’s are calling this “Lazarus Syndrome” where she appeared dead but was not. It is kind of weird, even creepy, to think that the funeral home staff was about to use formaldehyde to prepare the woman when she started breathing and moving. She is now in the hospital, but is in a deep coma.

Lazarus Syndrome, otherwise identified as the Lazarus phenomenon, is the sudden, unexpected, and unanticipated return of circulatory processes after someone has been declared dead or after failure to resuscitate. There have been just over 25 cases of Lazarus syndrome that have been documented since the early 1980s. This condition is so named because it is derived from the Biblical story of Lazarus and his resurrection by Jesus. The causes for Lazarus Syndrome remain unknown at this time. This condition certainly makes one wonder when a person can legally be declared deceased, especially if a person can appear dead for more than 24 hours and then seemingly come back to life. The thought of embalming someone that is alive is truly disturbing.

Chocolate Lovers Less Likely to Have a Stroke

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

In an article on the Telegraph.co.uk, it has revealed that eating chocolate on a regular basis might actually prevent people from having a stroke. Researchers studied close to fifty thousand individuals and discovered that those individuals that ate chocolate were 22 percent less likely to have a stroke than those individuals that do not eat chocolate. What’s more, people that have had a stroke in the past but that began eating chocolate were as much as 46 percent less likely to die.

Chocolate contains flavonoids as well as antioxidants according to the researchers from the University of Toronto who conducted a study. The question remains however, if eating chocolate reduces stroke risks or if healthier people are simply more prone to eating chocolate.

An additional study reveals that eating fifty grams of chocolate weekly can reduce the risk of dying from a stroke as much as 46 percent. Now people have a reason to feel less guilty for consuming that tasty box of chocolates received on Valentine’s Day. Being a serious chocolate lover myself, this is great news for me. While this is not necessarily paranormal news, it certainly is an interesting study.

The key is to consume it in moderation because chocolates are also high in saturated fats and can cause considerable weight gain. Of course, that’s easier said than done! More on the findings of the research linking chocolate consumption to reduced stroke risks is set to be presented at the American Academy of Neurology’s 62nd Annual Meeting hosted in Toronto.

Man Living with Situs Inversus

Monday, February 15th, 2010

A man in India, age 64, has what is known as Situs Inversus and, according to a report in the Telegraph.co.uk, he could be the only human being on the planet alive with the condition. If this is true and the man does have situs inversus, he is not the only person on the planet with the condition that is still living; there are reports that Randy Foye, an NBA star has the condition, as well as the actress Catherine O’Hara also has the condition.

Basically, this man has many of his organs, which should be positioned in the front of his body, positioned in a mirror like fashion in the opposite direction. When doctors attempted to operate on Ashok Shivnani to remove a tumor from one of his kidney’s they found that his abdominal organs, his chest organs, and many of his blood vessels were on the opposite side of his body. In fact, his heart muscles were even reversed and the man has not one, but two livers. The man was also lacking any kind of small intestines.

Situs inversus is sometimes identified as oppositus or situs transverse: all of the latter terms are used to define a congenital condition that involves the mirroring or reversal of organs in the body from their normal positioning.

Now what’s really bizarre about this case is that this man has had prior surgeries and he was never told about his condition. He had several operations for a hernia and he had been treated for a chronic lung condition. At 64 years of age, not a single doctor in his lifetime had told him that his organs where mal-positioned. What’s even scarier is that the doctors that were operating on him for his tumor had not a single clue that Shivnani’s organs were not located in the standard places organs are located in the human body. The discovery was made after they cut him open to remove the tumor.

How does something like this happen? How can doctors not notice that something is amiss long before this? It certainly makes you really concerned about the awareness of some physicians. Shouldn’t this have been something that was discovered through preoperative examinations? One thing is for sure, I’m glad I don’t have any plans to have surgery in India anytime soon: when doctor’s can miss something this important, what else are they missing? Alternatively, what if doctor’s didn’t miss the fact that this man had situs inversus? Shouldn’t they have told him the minute they knew? Makes you wonder if some doctors can be trusted at all.

Hedges Blocking Stonehenge

Sunday, February 14th, 2010

In a news report on National Geographic, it’s revealed that the Stonehenge monument might have been intentionally surrounded by a “hedge” so that rituals could not be observed while they were conducted. Recently found evidence consisting of two hedges that once encircled the monument some 3600 years ago was found when the site was surveyed.

At this point, many archeologists feel that the hedges were purposefully planted to keep prying eyes from witnessing sacred rituals that occurred at the site. While no vegetation has actually been found, there are shallow constructions that seem to resemble hedge banks. In addition, it is also believed that Stonehenge was actually a cemetery and there have been a number of burial mounds in the area.

Considering Stonehenge as a sacred ritual site, it’s not surprising that the site would be purposefully concealed from prying eyes. Magickal practices and sacred rites have long been held secret, not because such rites are evil, but that such rites are just that, “sacred.” As for having the eyes of non-believers behold a ritual practice, some practitioners believe that the skeptical mindset can subtract from the group mind or will, or that it can diminish the magickal atmosphere created. Much akin to “not casting your pearls before swine,” magickal practices are kept private and are to be revered by the practitioners that partake of them.

Depression is Gray not Blue

Saturday, February 13th, 2010

Okay, so you have heard of colors being used to describe emotions and actions all of the time. You might describe a coward as “yellow,” or as “yellow-bellied,” you might “see red,” when enraged, or you might “be green with envy” or be dancing with the “green eyed monster” if you are jealous. If you’re embarrassed your face may turn as “red as a beet,” and when your depressed “you’re feeling blue.” A new study says, not really. Actually, you are feeling kind of gray.

According to Professor Peter Whorwell, from the University Hospital South Manchester who questioned 400 individuals, 100 of which had depression, when a person is asked to choose a color to describe their mood when feeling depressed people often chose the color gray. Meanwhile, those individuals not suffering depression chose the color “yellow” of all things, because, hey, “they’re having a sunshiny day.” Anxiety sufferers also choose the color grey to describe their mood.

The team of researchers from the University Hospital South Manchester has created The Manchester Color Wheel which can be utilized to examine how individuals define their state of mind. People that are feeling depressed will often choose colors that are in the negative grouping on the wheel; this is in direct contrast with those individuals that are healthy who choose colors that are in the positive color groupings.

So if people are feeling “gray” and not “blue,” where the heck does the “I’m feeling blue” phrase come from? Interestingly enough, the color blue has been related to the rain and to stormy weather, and many people experience a mood shift during such weather. Some scholars suggest that the phrase relates to Greek mythology since the god Zeus would create storms when angered and rain when he was saddened. It is also suggested that the phrase comes from an old deepwater sailing ship custom; if the ship somehow lost its captain or any of the shipmates during a voyage at sea, the shipmates would purposefully fly blue flags and they would paint a blue band along the ship’s hull when the ship returned to port.

Interestingly enough, the color blue is associated with the West cardinal point in magickal practices, and the West is the corner associated with water, the color blue, the subconscious, and emotions. I think that the idea of “feeling blue,” is so deeply ingrained into humans and that blue has become such a well recognized and easily understood symbol of intense or heavy emotions that we won’t be hearing anyone saying “I’m feeling gray,” anytime soon.

Cat Predicts Deaths with Impressive Accuracy

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

In an article published on the Telegraph.co.uk on February 1st, a story reveals how a cat has managed to predict some fifty deaths in a Rhode Island nursing home. A cat named Oscar has the strange ability to detect when the patients in the nursing home are going to die and the cat will often curl up by the patients that will die during their final hours.

According to an assistant professor from Brown University and a geriatrician, Dr. David Dosa, Oscar has been monitored for a period of five years and the records indicate that the cat is hardly ever wrong in terms of predicting patients’ deaths. Oscar is not a social creature and he was adopted when he was a kitten. He now resides at a nursing home for people suffering from extreme dementia: the Steere House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center located in Providence.

The information about Oscar’s predictive capabilities was first documented in the New England Journal of Medicine by Dr. Dosa in the year 2007. Since that time, Oscar has predicted an additional 25 deaths with complete accuracy. Oscar does not spend any time with patients that are not near death and only approaches those that are very close to dying. What’s more, if a patient is near death and Oscar cannot get into the room because of a closed door, the cat will scratch at the door in order to get in.

In one incident the nurse put the cat near a patient that they believed was very close to death. The cat would not remain by the patient and instead, headed off to another room and to a different patient who later died the same evening. The patient that the nurses believed was dying did not die for another two days. It has gotten to the point that when Oscar curls up with a patient, family and loved ones are immediately notified. Dr. Dosa suggests that Oscar, much like dogs that can actually smell cancer, may have the ability to smell ketones, the odored biochemicals generated by dying cells.

So is it something physical that the cat is capable of like smelling ketones or is it that the animal has some kind of psychic abilities. I’m leaning toward the latter. The fact that the nursing home has several other cats and none of them do what Oscar does kind of defeats the argument that cats can smell ketones from dying cells. It would certainly be interesting to see more research into the matter. Is it something the cat psychically senses or is there really something physical that makes Oscar unique? Animals have the ability to detect earthquakes before humans do and they can even sense when really bad weather is coming, so is there something about the death experience that animals can also sense? In Tails of the Afterlife: True Stories of Ghost Pets, author Peggy Schmidt writes of an incident where a dog’s puppies, sensing their father’s death, all began to howl simultaneously just before the dog’s passing and that the puppies didn’t stop howling until after the dog passed on. Clearly, some animals have the ability to sense death. What’s most interesting is that some animals respond to what they sense while other animals illustrate no response at all.
